MarketStor Launches eArchiver
 Data storage solutions provider MarketStor released the latest in e-mail-archiving solutions Sept. 1 with the launch of the MS eArchiver. The program provides permanence, security and the ability to audit, meeting regulatory compliance requirements from SOX, HIPAA and many others while providing companies with a way to systematically and securely manage and archive e-mails.
The MS eArchiver provides virtual storage space ranging from 150GB to 6TB, depending on the model. All e-mails are stored in archive databases as a Single Instance Store (SIS), saving space while increasing Exchange operational performance. MS eArchiver meets regulatory and litigation requirements by allowing users to quickly retrieve messages from any time period.
Utilizing stubbing technology, MS eArchiver allows message content — including attachments — to be saved in an archive database while leaving behind a stub in the body of the e-mail, viewable in real time. Stubbing reduces the size of the Exchange server by up to 90 percent.
The MS eArchiver also provides heightened security, employing reliable safeguards such as encryption to ensure data is preserved in its original form. The MS eArchiver also allows PST files to migrate into the archive repository while eliminating their proliferation across the enterprise, resulting in greatly improved e-mail management.
